Originally a chubby kid from Minot, ND, Brandon James is a lifelong fan of stand-up comedy. Growing up, he became hooked on shows like Saturday Night Live and various Comedy Central specials, and was frequently threatened with trips to the principal's office during his religious education classes, for his comedic antics. In high school, he was frequently labeled as "that funny guy," (although he was still chubby at this time, so he never attended prom. Even once. Seriously.) He eventually attended college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and through strong encouragement from family, friends, and coworkers, began to pursue comedy on a serious level.

Professionally, Brandon has shared the stage with Joe Rogan, Kevin Nealon, Kirk Fox, Darrell Hammond, and many others. He currently performs at many prestigious venues, including The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, the Hollywood Improv, and for America's military stationed in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Jordan, Turkey, and Egypt. When not traveling, he can be seen entertaining audiences in-and-around the Las Vegas area.
